Characteristics and molding requirements of hardware silicone product

Although it has been said that hardware silicone products, in theory can be any material coated silicone molding. However, in practical applications, plastic wrapped silica gel and metal wrapped silica gel are the most common, and in the actual coating process, there are certain requirements for these materials.
Silicone and plastic wrap molding series of products for material requirements: silicone +PC, PC plastic high strength, good toughness, can maintain no deformation at 135℃ high temperature, can withstand high temperature and high pressure in the process of wrapping plastic, is a very good silicone wrap plastic material. For some complex structural adhesive coated products, you can also add glass fiber in PC to improve its rigidity and temperature resistance, basically can meet the majority of silicone coated plastic products application.
Silicone + nylon, is also a very ideal plastic bag silicone material, different from PC, nylon has better flexibility, can be easily bent. Therefore, it is mostly used in products with certain elasticity requirements. Similarly, glass fiber can also be added to improve its temperature resistance
Silica gel +ABS, although the nominal thermal deformation temperature of ABS can reach 90~120℃, but in Hengchang silica gel's previous coating product molding experience, only one modified ABS successfully realized coating, other ordinary ABS can not bear the temperature of coating molding (100~120℃). Therefore, Hengchang silicone does not recommend the use of ABS as a plastic bag silicone molding material
Material requirements of silicone and metal coated molding series products: silicone + stainless steel sheet, the more commonly used silicone coated steel sheet material, generally used in the need to increase the structural strength or electrical conductivity in the application of silicone products, in the actual coating molding, there is no special material requirements for stainless steel sheet.
